If none of my suggestions fit you might just want to try another vitamin brand. As stated, I have 0 experience with their products. If you bought them online they might have sat in the hot sun on their way to your house. Finally, where did you buy these vitamins? they might not have been properly stored. Anyways, have you checked the label of them to make sure they aren't expired? Sometimes stores just forget to pull expired inventory. ![]() Now onto the other possible causes of this. First off, there's no fish oil so we can cross that off the list. So I did some research into the components of the OLLY Women's Multivitamin. To be fair, I have no experience with OLLY vitamins. This typically comes from 3 things improper storage, a fish oil component that has gone bad, or a very expired pack of vitamins. Usually when someone says that something "smells like death" it means that something is rotting. Oh my, that's not the experience that you want when taking your vitamins! I wouldn't know what could be causing that off the top of my head. Tl Dr New multivitamins smell like death and rot to me but not my husband-why? I genuinely feel kind of crazy as I reread through this. What the heck is wrong with this multivitamin? Or, is there an ingredient that might be affecting me that has affected others this way before? And why can I smell it so strongly, but not my husband? No chance of pregnancy as I have had my tubes tied. It's lingering in my nose, throat, esophagus, etc. I drank so so so much water, and juice, and milk, and yet I still can smell it. I braved the debilitating odor and chewed one up, in hopes that it would be flavorless. No, I definitely smelled death and rotting. I handed the tub to my husband and he said they just smelled "chalky". Or what I imagine a rotting corpse would smell like. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated. For the first time since 2018 I ran out of prenatal vitamins and sevided to pick up a pack of "Women's Multi Vitamins" by the brand Olly. I was also severely anemic and was taking iron supplements and vitamin C to help absorb the iron. I have been taking pretanal vitamins consistently since 2018 when I was first pregnant. ![]()
